Hey all :)
Ahhhh today was insane!!!! I don't think I've ever been that busy... When we arrived in Nvo Valentin this morning at 8:30 we were greeted by tons of waiting children, and even some parents...

Unfortunately we didn't have time for an early morning four square game because it was medical clinic day!!! We unloaded medicine and prepped for the clinic... And that's where the real fun began lines and lines of people began appearing out of what seamed to be thin air! There were more new faces in the church then we could have ever imagined, and they all got
anti-parasites, victims, toothbrushes, and fever-reducers, some even got glasses it was really neat to see the hustle and bustle of it all, and a local nurse from Iquitos examined small infants and minor injuries it was a really cool experience, this was all taking place in the church while we played with the children under the pavilion

Three little boy doing who knows what...

Ben and all the kids who love getting their pictures taken :)

My sweet little alex :)

And again... Ok so I think he maybe be my new favorite little boy... Ever

After games the services began in the church we had a good turn out and everyone seemed to enjoy the service, it was the culmination of this weeks work because both Pastor Clever of Nvo Valentin and Pastor Danny of Charleston Sc conducted the services, I have to admit to all of you... I was put in charge of translating the respective parts of the service, because half the audience spoke only Spanish and the other only English... This was a bit of a challenge for me because I was not previously made aware of what the pastors were going to say... To be honest we did discuss it beforehand but it somehow evolved into something else from the pulpit... As I'm sure sermons sometimes do... Not to mention they evolved into much longer speeches as I know tends to happen with sermons ;)
The problem was that right before church I had gone trekking with both pastor and our construction project manager to see where the village gets their clean water... And what I thought would be a 20 walk... Turned into a 20 minute walk followed by a 45 minute conversation , out under the hot sun, about he benefits of clean water...
Well Natalie was lacking clean water.... Because I failed to bring my water bottle needless to say it was one of the hottest days yet here... So I was a little dehydrated once we got back, add that to a scorching hot church full of people and Natalie nerves, which were in nots faced with all those curious faces, and a girl tends to get a little light headed, a apparently got extremely pale .... :( so in about the middle of the service I had to relinquish me translating duties, to the amazing Pam :) who covered for my near fainting behind...
I took a bottle of water and went out to sit in the rain and immediately felt ten times better, lesson learn always carry water everywhere... I will from now on I promise... Lol but other than that the day really went off with out a hitch.

After the service we had a huge town wide meal together of chicken and rice :) it was very good and everyone seemed to enjoy it very much...
All in all it was a good day :)
We're about to have dinner so I'm off... But I love you :) stay tuned
Pray for us :)
